North East Lincolnshire Council have created a new Estates and Business Development team and are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Commercial Manager to join us.

What you need to know about the role

This role has been established to work within a newly formed Estates and Business Development team, reporting directly to the Head of Estates and Business Development.  The role will work in close partnership with our Regeneration partner, ENGIE and our Legal and Finance teams.

The role will include:

  • Provision of strong client leadership and professional guidance across all elements of the commercial property estate, ensuring the estate is effectively managed.
  • Provision of advice on all matters pertaining to the Commercial estate, providing both operational and strategic advice, reports, and briefings and answering any complaints that might arise.
  • Using developed commercial awareness to recognise and bring forward business opportunities to increase income.
  • RICS qualification is essential

Applications are sought from those who can demonstrate using strong business acumen and market insight to drive commercial opportunities. This role will proactively lead, support, and challenge the existing commercial portfolio and implement new opportunities to ensure maximum commercial outcomes.

You will be a flexible and adaptable technical professional able to work in an exciting and changing environment, with significant experience in a diverse and complex organisation.  The successful candidate will have a proven record of developing and maintaining open, trusting, and productive relationships.
