The Role

This is a vital role in supporting the community of North East Lincs to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus. The role will involve the supervision of a team of Contact Tracing Support Assistant’s and will involve visiting, supporting and advising people in their homes identified as having Covid through the NHS Test and Trace system.

How You Can Make a Difference

Building relationships and rapport is essential in this role as you will be supervising a team who will be advising members of the public to stay home and follow the guidelines in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19, protect their health and the health of others around them. To do this effectively you will need to be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. We are looking for a person who has experience/knowledge of:

  • Dealing with the public both in person and on the telephone
  • Leading a team
  • Conflict resolution including conflict management
  • Knowledge North East Lincolnshire
  • Good written, verbal and telephone communication skills
  • Providing advice and guidance in accurate spoken English
  • Ability to plan and prioritise their own work schedule and that of others within the team, meeting deadlines as necessary
  • Confidence to address potential issues of non-compliance
