Primary Resource Base,

Western Primary School, Broadway, Grimsby DN34 5RS

A great opportunity has opened up for an enthusiastic dedicated teacher, to work in the Primary Resource Unit designed to support pupils who have found difficulties in managing mainstream primary education.

The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching, planning and assessing the learning across the whole primary range for 12 children with a range of issues including SEN, attachment and SEMH. Your role will include the supervision of a team of ******* under the guidance of the Assistant Head Teacher

  To be considered a real asset, we want a teacher who:

  • has experience of the whole primary range
  • has an understanding of children with SEMH
  • has knowledge and experience with other agencies such as Children’s Services and schools;
  • is able to build strong relationships with parents and carers;
  • has excellent behaviour management skills;
  • confident, outstanding practitioner;
  • is able to manage experienced staff;
  • is patient, understanding and resilient;
  • believes that every child is an individual
  • has a nurturing ethos
