Families First Practitioner
A vacancy has arisen to recruit to a permanent Families First Practitioner role across prevention and early help, working within our locality family hubs.
The work provides the opportunity for a shared response from a multi-agency approach, with a strong focus on meeting identified need within a locality. Its aim is to increase prevention and earlier intervention activity across areas of identified demand, reduce duplication and the need for statutory social care involvement.
The post holder will deliver a broad range of interventions supporting young people who are at risk of going missing or exploited.
If you are interested in the role and have a flair for engaging vulnerable young people and families and working in a supportive team who prioritise workforce development, then please contact Rachel Cross (Locality Specialist Lead) rachel.cross @nelincs.gov.uk (Tel: 01472 326600)
Interviews to be held Friday 5th April 2019
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect the same commitment from all staff and volunteers
