ICT Support Officer
You will play a key role in providing technical support for the Councils end point devices and servers. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and will have experience in dealing with IT users and attending both operational and project-led meetings.
The work is varied and requires attention to detail, working to defined processes and procedures whilst at the same time working under your own initiative.
You will have previous experience within a technical environment, therefore it is essential to have technical knowledge in areas of Microsoft Windows and Active Directory administration. Knowledge and experience of working on an IT Help Desk, providing 1st/2nd line support and use of central administration tools, for example, backup solutions/antivirus/remote support products are essential.
You must be good at communicating technical matters clearly across the organisation. Planned and unplanned out of hours working at short notice is also a key requirement.
A good knowledge of customer care principals and an enthusiasm to develop and learn new skills is also essential. Experience of project and service management methodologies is also highly desirable.
You should be an effective communicator, able to work under pressure, prioritise workloads, meet strict deadlines and transport yourself across all North & North East Lincolnshire council sites in a timely manner.
